The Palmer Soil and Water Conservation District provides workshops and presentations to schools and community groups in the district. We have recently presented on

1. Nutrient management practices, which conserve fertilizer resources and protects our water resources;
2. Mycorrhizae, which promote more efficient use of nutrients both inorganic and organic;
3. Water quality monitoring, which protects fish habitat;
4. Juvenile fish counts, which protect fish habitat.
